About Us
What We Do
Ironside Home Improvements is a small remodeling contractor and handyman company based out of Dane County, Wisconsin. Our services include basement renovations, handyman work and repairs, residential remodeling/construction, exteriors, kitchen, and bathroom remodeling. Occupied and fully operational job sites are never a problem. We can also plan, manage, and build multi-phase jobs.
At Ironside Home Improvements we aim to provide fast, efficient, and quality workmanship into your home no matter how large or small your project may be. We take pride in our attention to detail and our honest approach to updating, beautifying, and making your home more functional for you at a reasonable cost.
I’m Jeremy, the owner, and ever since I can remember I’ve loved working with my hands, crafting, and fixing things. If you ask my father, he will even tell you that I’ve been pounding nails since I was two years old. Sure enough, I ended up in the trades and now I’ve been a professional carpenter for more than 20 years. I’ve done commercial and residential work, exteriors, interiors, decks, custom installations, new builds, new additions, and remodeling, as well as handyman/home maintenance jobs. I am happy to talk to you about your projects, figure out the nitty-gritty details, help determine what can be done within your budget, and make your ideas a reality!

We offer an end-to-end client experience that includes seamless communication, on-site organization, and solid, quality handywork every time.
When you contact us, we will reach back out to you, usually arrange a visit to your project site and get more details about your project to get started. During the process we will discuss timelines with you and ask questions about the desired outcomes for your project to make sure we are all on the same page of what to expect.
Not sure if your project requires contractor or handyman services?
Handyman services include things like hanging blinds and other objects, hanging doors, changing out door knobs, fixing door/drawer slides, etc. These types of services do not require building permits. They may require problem solving but typically can be done in a day. If your project does not fit this description, then it likely better fits with our remodeling contractor services. If you still are not sure, contact us and we can let you know which type of service your project will fall under.

Have nail gun will travel! – We may be based out of Marshall in Dane County, WI but we will roam from home to help you get your projects on their way. We have traveled as far as Portage, Wood, and Outagamie Counties (among others) to help our clients realize their home improvement dreams.
